PRÁCTICAS ALFABETIZADORAS DE MADRES Y PROFESORAS: Sus efectos sobre habilidades de niños preescolares

El objetivo del estudio que presentamos fue analizar las posibles diferencias entre las
prácticas alfabetizadoras de madres y profesoras, después de recibir un programa de
intervención, así como sus efectos sobre las habilidades lingüísticas de los alumnos.

Participaron 30 niños de tercer grado de preescolar, 10 de sus madres y 3 de sus pro-
fesoras. Se utilizó un diseño pre post-evaluación, con dos grupos experimentales y

uno control. Los resultados indican efectos del programa de intervención en madres
y profesoras, y diferencias entre los grupos experimentales y el control (duración
de la actividad (U= 0.000, z= -2.550, p < 0.05, r= -0.19), y narración de historias
(U= 5.000, z= -2.687, p < 0.05, r= -0.20)), con mejores desempeños en los alumnos
cuyas profesoras participaron en el programa.
Abstract:
Th e objective of the study we are presenting was to analyze the possible diff erences
between the literacy practices of mothers and teachers who had taken part in an
intervention program. Th e study also focused on the eff ects on students’ linguistic
skills. Th e participants were thirty children in the third year of preschool, ten of their
mothers, and three of their teachers. A pre- and post-evaluation design was used, with
two experimental groups and one control group. Th e results indicate the eff ects of the

intervention program on mothers and teachers, and diff erences between the experi-
mental groups and the control group (duration of activity (U= 0.000, z= -2.550, p <

0.05, r= -0.19), and narration of stories (U= 5.000, z= -2.687, p < 0.05, r= -0.20)).
Th e students whose teachers participated in the program showed better performance.
