Resumen:
En este estudio de enfoque mixto, comparativo, se evaluó la influencia de facto-
res sistémicos internos y externos en alumnos con alto potencial intelectual que
acuden a un centro educativo extracurricular (CEE). Los hallazgos indican que
los factores internos, resiliencia e inteligencia emocional, ayudan en el manejo
de estrés que tienen los alumnos para sobrellevar las actividades extracurriculares,
y los factores externos de organización familiar y su experiencia dentro del CEE
impactan en la motivación y el desempeño que tienen para a seguir preparándose
académicamente.
Abstract:
This study, characterized by a mixed, comparative focus, evaluated the influence
of internal and external systemic factors among students with high intellectual
potential who attend an extracurricular educational center. The findings indicate
that internal factors, resilience, and emotional intelligence are helpful for students
as they handle the stress of extracurricular activities; external factors such as fam-
ily organization and student experience at the educational center have an impact
on student motivation and performance as they continue their academic
preparation.
